Congratulations on Successful Projects!

Website Projects

Each year, NMD students work in project teams on a culminating website project building a website for a client.  This year’s class developed three websites.

1. One for our own program, New Media Design
2. A rebuild of our school’s alumni site, and,
3. A site for a local company that inspects, installs and sells woodstoves.

New Media Design Site

Students built the site you are currently visiting to showcase the New Media Design program.  It explains what the program is all about and also provides a place to show off student work. 

LRATC Alumni Site

The Alumni site helps Louis Riel Arts & Technology alumni connect and stay up to date on what is happening at the school.  Graduates can sign up to receive our newsletter and read the latest news.

Triple W Installs

This local company, Triple W Installs,  wanted a site that would showcase their work and attract potential customers.  It explains their WETT certification and displays the woodstoves they sell and install.

Project Presentations

Students presented the newly launched sites at the end of January.  Even though most of them were quite nervous, the presentations went very well and they were all relieved and happy to be done when it was over!

Students state that these projects give them an excellent experience in not only applying their technical skills but in working on communication and teamwork skills within their team as well as communicating with a client.
